The Swissneese is a large dog breed mix of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and the Great Pyrenees. It weighs an average of 140 pounds and can stand over 28 inches in height. The breed tends to have a thick coat that is brown and white, white, or cream. Most Swissneese dogs have a short coat, but some may inherit the long coat of the Great Pyreneese. Owners of a long-haired Swissneese must be prepared to perform frequent grooming. Due to its size, this dog may not be suitable for a first-time dog owner.
