Sheltie Pug Build Information

The Sheltie pug is the hybrid cross of a Shetland sheepdog and a pug. Sheltie pugs weigh between 15 and 25 pounds. They exhibit the button ears of the pug parent, but the tail is not as curled and the face is not as pushed in. The coat is short, fine and sleek, and it is usually light brown or cream in color. A few white markings may be present, and a black mask is a common feature. Sheltie pugs are shedders, but brushing the coat daily will be helpful in collecting loose hairs before they are shed. Sheltie pugs are relatively easy to train, and they are alert watchdogs.
