The Schnug is most often colored black, brown, white, or some combination of these colors, and it is smallish, achieving an adult weight somewhere in the range of 16 – 20 lbs. It has floppy ears, with straight, short-length fur, and it can be expected to live somewhere between 12 and 15 years.

Behaviour and Personality
A Schnug is a cross between a Miniature Schnauzer and a Pug, and it is known for being very affectionate, intelligent, and friendly. It does not require a great deal of grooming, but it does need a good amount of exercise in order to stay healthy. It’s a very trainable dog, but is not really suitable for being a watchdog, since it doesn’t bark to alert owners about strangers.
