A Schip-A-Pom has very pointy ears, with straight, medium-length fur, and is almost always colored black. As adults, these dogs weigh between 20 and 25 lbs, and they can be expected to live between 12 and 15 years. They have shaggy tails which often curl up, legs which are short and stout, and triangular faces that sport a very alert appearance.

The Schip-A-Pom is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Schipperke, and it is an adorable, smallish dog known for being intelligent, playful, affectionate, and very playful. In a household setting, they really crave attention from family members, and are willing to play all day to get it, if need be. These are very trainable dogs, and they adapt well to other dogs as well as humans.
