Pyrador Build Information

The Pyrador is a large, mixed dog breed that is made by crossing a Labrador Retriever with a Great Pyrenees. They can weigh between 75 and 100 pounds and stand between 25 and 28 inches. Their dense, soft fur comes in many colors, mainly white, yellow, brown, gray or black. Pyrador’s require regular brushing to maintain all that fur.

Behaviour and Personality

They are very alert and protective dogs that must be trained early to be well behaved around children, other animals or strangers, otherwise they tend to jump on people. They do best in a house with a large yard and are prized as guard dogs.
