One of the Boxapoint’s parents is the German Shorthaired Pointer, which is a mid- to large-sized dog that Germans developed in the 1800s for hunting. Crossed with the popular Boxer breed, the Boxapoint inherits its solid, sturdy build and facial features. It gets its relatively long and square muzzle from the Pointer. Weighing between around 25 to 45 pounds as an adult, the Boxapoint is capable of virtually any task.
