The Boxweiler is the resulting cross breed of the Boxer and Rottweiler purebreds. The large dogs have short, coarse fur that normally is seen in black, brown, golden colorations with the occasional black and white markings.

Behaviour and Personality

Boxweilers can make for great family dogs, both loving and devoted, though they have a tendency to bond strongly with one person. Since they are large, frequent vigorous exercise is necessary and these dogs are active for indoors and out. They are known for being protective, athletic, and powerful dogs and being highly intelligent are relatively easy to train. Socializing and obedience training is recommended, starting at an early age.
