Nasal Discharge

Liquid is coming out of the nose of the dog or cat. Typically, a clear nasal discharge in pets is nothing to worry about. However, if it lingers or becomes cloudy, yellowish, green or foul-smelling, it could be a symptom of various health issues. Some common conditions that can cause nasal discharge in dogs and cats include allergies, respiratory infections and blockages. Other causes of nasal discharge in pets are polyps, tumors, distemper, fistula and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.

Pet Insurance

When adding a dog or cat to your family you want to make sure your pet is happy, healthy and protected. During its lifetime your pet is exposed to many illnesses and diseases and some breeds are affected by a congenital disease which is a condition existing at birth. At these moments when your pet is ill or maybe needs surgery, you want to be protected for the unexpected and high veterinarian costs.
