The Toy Rat Doxie is a hybrid dog resulting from the cross of the American Rat Terrier with the Dachshund. These small dogs may have either a smooth, wire-haired, or long-haired coat that comes in a multitude of colors that include mixes of black, red, blue, tan, brindle, and many others.

Toy Rat Doxies tend to lounge and be lazy while indoors, but will enjoy a good session of play or short walks to burn off energy.
